Astrup Fearnley Museet

Astrup Fearnley is a private foundation museum in Oslo, opened in 1993 and moved in 2012 into Renzo Piano's building at Tjuvholmen, where a canal under a glass roof separates the two wings and a sculpture park runs down to the water. The collection is international contemporary art, with Jeff Koons, Damien Hirst and Andy Warhol forming the backbone of the standing presentation alongside a continuing line of younger Nordic artists. Two or three shows a year often regroup themes out of the holdings.
