teamLab

teamLab is a Tokyo collective making immersive interactive spaces: projections follow visitors' movement and walls run into floors so the audience becomes part of the image. Tokyo has two permanent venues, teamLab Planets in Toyosu where you walk barefoot through water, and teamLab Borderless at Azabudai Hills, reopened in 2024, where works drift between rooms; Osaka's Nagai Botanical Garden holds a night-time outdoor show. The site groups by artwork and venue and states the technical setup and interaction for each piece, which makes it useful as a case library for exhibition design. ⭐ Notable: Planets Toyosu, Borderless Azabudai Hills, Osaka botanical garden night show 🔗 Artworks: https://www.teamlab.art/e/
