The collection centres on art after 1945 and is unusual for its performance and dance archive, with a standing commitment to live work and residencies; a 2015 gift from Stefan Edlis and Gael Neeson thickened the Pop and Minimalism holdings, and a dedicated space covers Chicago and Midwest artists.
