Moderna Museet occupies Skeppsholmen in Stockholm, opened in 1958 and housed since 1998 in Rafael Moneo's building with clerestory daylight. The collection spans twentieth-century and current painting, sculpture, photography and moving image, with Picasso, Dali, Matisse and Niki de Saint Phalle on the permanent line, a parallel strand of Nordic and Swedish modernism, and a systematic photography holding from documentary to conceptual. A second venue in Malmö shares the collection, and both are searchable together online. 🔗 Collection: https://www.modernamuseet.se/en/stockholm/
