Kunstmuseum Wolfsburg in Lower Saxony shows modern and contemporary art only, with no centuries-spanning survey hang. The museum keeps several experimental slots open: Open Area lets curators try ideas that have not made it into the main programme, wob³walls puts works onto walls around the city, and the Curatorials series is led by guest curators. A thirty-year review ran in 2023. The current show, Tell Me Where Home Is, runs from September 2026 into January 2027 and treats home, migration and dwelling as its subject.
