Kenney is an independent asset site in the Netherlands making 2D sprites, 3D models, UI kits and sound effects for game development, all released under CC0 with no attribution needed for commercial use. The style is consistent and the palettes are clean, so characters, tiles, props and interface buttons from one pack fit together without clashing. Packs are sliced finely by genre, with full starter sets for platformers, racing and tower defence, plus a few runnable prototype projects and fonts.
