Palais de Tokyo on the right bank in Paris's 16th arrondissement is among Europe's largest centres for contemporary art and stays open until ten at night, which makes it one of the few places in the city to see art late. Space splits in two: the exhibition floors and the large La Friche, which takes no fixed shows and hands the room to artists for live work, rehearsals and short interventions, so visitors see unfinished things. The season opening in October 2026 takes territoire as its theme, working the word as both concrete and symbolic object.
