Triennale Milano

Triennale Milano is Italy's institution for design and architecture, housed in the Palazzo dell'Arte beside Parco Sempione. Its permanent display is the Italian Design Museum, telling twentieth-century Italian design through roughly four hundred objects, furniture, lamps and prototypes rather than wall panels. Upper floors and the basement rotate contemporary exhibitions, performances and public programmes, and theatre and dance makers rehearse work here. The autumn 2026 programme includes Chiara Bersani's live piece The Lovely Gears.
