Louisiana Museum of Modern Art sits about thirty-five kilometres north of Copenhagen at Humlebæk on the Øresund coast; Knud W. Jensen founded it in 1958 and the old villa and its garden grew into galleries and a sculpture park. The Giacometti hall is the anchor indoors, the park holds Moore, Dubuffet and Serra, and there are Bourgeois, Fontana and post-war American painting inside, plus a children's wing.
