Schaulager

Schaulager sits in Münchenstein outside Basel, opened by the Laurenz Foundation in 2003 in a building by Herzog & de Meuron. It is part storage, part exhibition hall: a large part of the contemporary holdings stays visible in a working depot, and public access is limited to specific exhibition periods when storage itself becomes the display.
