Playtype

Playtype is a Copenhagen foundry that has run retail and commissioned work in parallel for over twenty years, spun out of the design studio e-Types, which shows in the type: the starting point is where a face will be used and what sits beside it, with structure decided after. The library is modest but steadily updated, with Primo Serif, Access, VentiQuattro, Rialta, Symphony and Noir No1 Arabic all testable on site. Commissions stretch across wayfinding, newspapers and consumer brands, and a Commission Type section documents the process from brief through testing to delivery. ⭐ Flagship families: Primo Serif, Access, VentiQuattro, Rialta, Symphony, Noir No1 Arabic\n🔗 Typefaces: https://playtype.com/typefaces
