Fukuoka Asian Art Museum

Fukuoka Asian Art Museum occupies floors seven and eight of the Riverain Center in Hakata, opening in 1999 as what it describes as the only museum systematically collecting and showing modern and contemporary Asian art. The Asian Collection 100 framework spans East, Southeast, South and Central Asia, backed by an artist-in-residence programme and a dedicated Asian art library.
